Eat environmentally correct fish

The Los Angeles Times posted an article (see http://tinyurl.com/m25ef5) about a program that encourages people to pick fish and seafood entrees that don’t threaten the world’s already depleted fisheries.

A few restaurants are placing a “Seafood for the Future” logo next to certain offerings to help patrons identify dishes made from sustainable seafood.

The reward?  Get a free ticket to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.

Read the article to find out more.  Locally, Walt’s Wharf is one of the restaurants participating in this program.

  1. Does anyone know how long this program runs? It sounds great! I found more information at a website specific to this program at http://www.seafoodforthefuture.org
