What is Sunset Beach?

Sunset Beach is a small coastal community just south of Seal Beach and Surfside (which is part of Seal Beach).  Did we mention that it is a small community?  It may be about a mile long on the west side of Pacific Coast Highway.  There are nice three story mansions and small one story beach cottages.  There is a greenbelt (former electric car route) where residents and visitors can park.

The population of Sunset Beach is approximately 1,300.

There are some amenities in town.  Post office.  A couple of restaurants (a couple of them are noteworthy) and beach bars.  There are no beach concessions except the Jack-in-the-Box if you want to count that. There is a nautical store that opens occasionally.

There is a Starbucks located across PCH so so that would put it in Huntington Beach.  The Huntington Harbour area is along much of the east side of PCH.
