Everything seems to be moving toward annexation by January (or thereabouts). For example, a fund created for Sunset Beach to become a city has been returned to individual contributors. Local enterprises are now thinking about how Huntington Beach agencies will impact them.
The annexation may not be completed by January but it certainly appears the roadblocks are slowly being removed.
