Ohana Day

The Surfrider Foundation announced recently that it will host Ohana Day on April 19, 2009 at nearby Seal Beach Pier.

Ohana means “extended family”.  This activity is an Earth Day awareness celebration.   The foundation invites everyone to enjoy free surf lessons, free marine biology classes for kids, a free bodyboarding clinic, and a skateboarding demo – all courtesy of local merchants.

There will be a raffle to benefit the Huntington/Seal Beach Chapter of Surfrider Foundation (http://www.sbhbsurfrider.org).

This celebration runs from 9 am to 1 pm.
